Stress Management - Melbourne
How to Reduce Stress for Professionals - Melbourne
Course notes by Dr. Marcus Clarkson
Overview
G’day everyone, now before we begin, I suspect the following is probably going to be one of the smartest investments you’ll make in your self developing career this year. WHY I founded my school: Over the last twenty years in the consulting room with businesses all over Melbourne, regional Victoria and Australia, I've seen too many talented professionals burning out, only to discover that they never learnt how to manage stress in the first place.
This isn’t just another course packed with theory you’ll never use. Instead, we’ll look at practical tactics that actually succeed in real office environments — from the busy towers of the CBD to the smaller suburban business hubs I visit regularly. You will leave with your own personalized toolkit that matches your individual work situation and stress patterns.
This program is designed around what I’ve observed to be effective in hundreds of workplaces across Melbourne, from the manufacturing floors of Geelong to the incubators of Richmond. The basics remain the same, but the application has to be real-world and now.

Summary
Work stress doesn’t need to be a given or a source of despair. Working with Australian businesses over the years, the most consistent pattern I have seen is the most successful business people accept that they cannot avoid stress altogether, and in fact, have finely honed their ability to manage it.
In this course I am giving you tips and strategies that work in real Australian workplace. You’ll walk away with real-world tips you can use today to survive difficult clients, tight timeliness and difficult team dynamics.
Not only will the investment you put into learning how to better manage your stress make you a better professional, it will also make you lead a more meaningful life. It does seem to follow, after all, that we don’t spend so much of our lives at work, only to be miserable while we’re there.
